Steel-Fab has been a proud member of NHA since 2007 and has actively participated in their national conference and regional meetings each year.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, (ASME), is an organization that establishes the standard rules for the construction of steam boilers and other pressure vessels.
Steel Fab manufactures multiple products that are designed and fabricated in accordance with the latest versions of ASME Section VIII, Section IX and inspected in accordance with Section V requirements for non-destructive testing.
American Welding Society
The American Welding Society, (AWS), is a nonprofit organization with a global mission to advance the science, technology and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes, including brazing, soldering and thermal spraying.
Steel Fab welding procedures, operators and inspection personnel are qualified to AWS standards D1.1, (Structural welding code for steel), D1.5 (Bridge welding Code) and D1.6 (Structural welding code for stainless steel).
United States Department of Defense
The United States Department of Defense, (DOD), is an executive branch department of the federal government of the United States charged with coordinating and supervising all agencies and functions of the government concerned directly with national security and the United States Armed Forces.
Steel Fab’s Quality Control Manual is written in conformance with Military Standard- 45208 and is reviewed on annual basis for necessary updates and revisions to meet the ever-changing industry needs.
Our welding procedures, welders and fitters are qualified in conformance with military standards S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248, S9074-AR-GIB-010/278. In addition, all our non-destructive testing, (NDT), inspection procedures and personnel are qualified to military standards; T904-AS-GIB-010/271.
